Garth, It was wonderful to see you at the MPHS 20th Reunion. As soon as I saw you, I knew who you were. Glad I had the opportunity to talk with you. As I left, you told me to google GMM. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are too modest; I wish you said something that night to me. Congratulations on all your various successes. I'm so curious about your life since you left MP. Listened to some of your songs and liked them. Which song do you suggest I use with my tenth grade Honors class for a Writer's Notebook entry. If you're back to LI, would you come to my Public Speaking class? I'm sure youhave some interesting stories! Continue good luck in Memphis. Fondly, Mrs. Danowski

Hey Garth,

I keep listening to the two new demo's you gave me and eagerly await the final product. To quote a line from your song which i feel is apt is " your closer than you have ever been" Ken would have loved the first cut with its southern rootsy feel.

Hey there "Jane"...I mean Garth,
It was "SO" great seeing you and the fingerprints on stage in NYC!!
Thankfully...we got the car started without TOO much trouble...
I wish you and your band of traveling tight string players the best the road has to offer as you spread your infectious seed of rhythm & harmony westward bound!!
If the masses only knew what we already know...you'd be a household name!!!
Believe it...
Know it...
Feel it...
Play it...
Live it...
...Always!!!!!
From your friends back east who love you more than the incredible music you just happen to play...

Great CD, Garth! Hope your gig at Produce Row went well. I am still working on names for the band: So far the best one I have so far is (the) Innocent Bystanders.
Rejects include: Baby Daddy (too funky); The Deceivers (too...negative?!); WMD (Weapons of Musical Destruction) (too topical?); the Deadbeats (too negative?); and Whiskey Tango (military shorthand for "White Trash" - um...too white-trashy).
Anyway, this is great stuff. I will sign up for updates via e-mail.

Garth - I keep listening to the CD over and over! Have you on repeat in my IPOD. In between U2,Kelly Clarkson(it really is a good CD) Madonna, Crowded House, old Journey songs (which still remind me of you), you just fit right in. It sounds great! I keep going back to Kicking Up the Dirt & Records to Your Rivals, but I love the vocals on Up From Nothing and Sinking Feelings. I'll never forget when you first performed them at Mickey's Blue Room in NYC - you captured everyone's attention in the room and I kept thinking if only the judges on American Idol could have been there! Makes that show (and the people on it) look so weak in comparision! Great CD, I really love it! Miss you in NY
